Worship for Sunday, July 19, 2020

Sunday, July 19, is Pastor Andrew Terry’s last Sunday at St. Peter’s. He and his family will be moving to Texas where he will begin a new position with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.

Tiffany, Langston and I would like to invite you to join us for lunch on Sunday at noon at our usual Zoom coffee hour. We would like for you simply to prepare at home for a lunch.  Or if you aren’t a lunch eater, then get yourself a snack.  And let’s share a meal together virtually, while we enjoy the program prepared by a St. Peter’s committee, to say good-bye.

Jesus knew what he was doing when he gathered with friends for a simple meal at a time of departure. So we will follow his example on this my last Sunday with you all and enjoy some time together.

We will also be singing a familiar hymn, Will You Come and Follow Me? The PDF is here. We plan to put the lyrics on the Zoom meeting on Sunday but just in case that doesn’t work, you can open the PDF linked above.

The link to the reading from the Book of Exodus is here. Fr. Terry’s sermon is here.

We wish Fr. Terry, Tiffany and Langston safe travels to Texas and God’s peace as they settle into their new home and jobs. We love you and will miss you!
